Wow...Not to code, non metallic conduit is supposed to be 18" deep, that garden outlet is way too low as well.. that GFI should of been at house (in not a gfi breaker in panel )and your line should have been off the load side..

He did put the conductors on the line side. The GFCI is in the circuit and that all you need. He should have used a W/R GFCI. But your right about the 18 inch depth.

So, to begin with it is a terrible idea that a pop-rivet can hold anything on plastic without any backing. Same story with the screws. You'd be far better off just gluing the eyelets to the hull. Alternatively, you can get a hatch kid, and use its hole to reach inside and strengthen the fastener connection. And then seal the hatch too. Then you have both storage and access to do it properly.

Don't be so sute about that plastic lasting forever, that's a amalgamation of a few types of plastic and is relatively brittle for plastic. It won't weather well, plastic won't corode in the garden but will erode... plastic can absorb the micro plastics... but we all get tons in air and water at this point anyway.

When they're ripe and they fall off the tree you leave them out there for a couple days and the Green Hull pops open. Then you just flip them out of there and it's so easy it only takes a couple seconds to pop them out but the shell on Chinese black walnuts is very difficult the meats are smaller and they're tucked in all these little crevices but they are healthy for you they're medicinal that's why there's a special way to do it with the boiling water

To get those clean just put them on the ground and stop on them You will not break them or damage the nuts at all and then you don't have to sit there and hammer it and only get one half of it off if you stomp on it and rub your foot over it on the ground it'll totally come out almost totally clean. And then you don't have to sit there and do whatever it was your were doing to try to get the rest of the green shell off. But I appreciate your title "trying to process walnuts" love it. We all start somewhere! And instead of putting that screen over a tote just literally dump it onto the yard in an area you'll be fine with it being there It'll wash away over time. And make sure to throw the walnuts that aren't edible to you back under the tree so the squirrels and chipmunks and birds can get them. When you're forging for walnuts, or anything, always keep in mind that You are taking one of their only food sources So don't be greedy. They can't join the workforce, make money and go grocery shopping 😂😊
